Laray E. Dyer is a highly acclaimed author, missionary and health coach.
In 2019, Laray suffered a severe case of postpartum depression and anxiety. As a part of her recovery, Laray wrote "When the Bough Breaks: Unearthing the Roots of Postpartum Depression". In this inaugural work, she is remarkably transparent, revealing groundbreaking personal health records and sincere emotion.
Before starting a family, Laray was heavily engaged in connecting with people through foreign missions,
community outreach, and evangelism. In June 2020, the 10th anniversary of her missionary exploits, Laray returns to Kampala, Uganda as a speaker in the 9th Annual Women Empowerment Conference, resuming the work of the ministry.
As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Laray creates a supportive environment that enables her clients to articulate and achieve their goals. Throughout her education, she has been exposed to the most cutting-edge dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help clients find the right lifestyle that works best for them. Laray coaches her clients to work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation.
Laray is a happily married mother of two residing in Atlanta, Georgia. She has 14 years of experience providing diversified business and technology services and solutions to advance the mission of agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Reserve. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University, a Master of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University, a Project Management Professional certification with the Project Management Institute, and a Health Coach Certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
